Greenway™ FAUX WOOD PRODUCTS

Greenway™ FAUX WOOD will not rot, split, crack, or fade like real wood. Corbels/Brackets, Planking, and Cladding sections are ideally suited for both interior and exterior use on soffits, ceilings, wainscoting, beams, columns, door overlays, and other trim applications. Exotic wood reproductions include Pecky Cypress, Clear Cypress, antique Oak, and Historic Barnwood each offered factory primed or available in one of eleven (11) distinctive colors. Additional species of wood are in development.

PECKY CYPRESS
One Cypress grade that is particularly popular for interior paneling and decorating is Pecky cypress. In natural wood, the exact cause of this texture is unknown, Pecky occurs when the wood is attacked by fungus, resulting in lens-shaped pockets throughout the wood. When finally cut for paneling, it yields an attractive three dimensional look unlike any other wood. Studies have not revealed the exact origin of the fungus or why it attacks only certain trees. Even though Pecky Cypress is considered an independent grade, it is not as readily available as the Selects and Commons and therefore offers a special opportunity to present a truly unique rustic appearance.

ANTIQUE OAK
As a natural, recycled product, Antique Barnwood Oak shows the history of the wood very well; there is an unlimited combination of knots, patina, wear marks and fastener holes. The color will vary from weathered gray and brown to the rich patina found underneath; deeper into the board we find the color and grain that makes oak such a popular wood today. Greenway Antique Oak provides the warmth and aesthetics of the natural product without the maintenance, rotting or splitting of a natural product.

Greenway Wood Products are currently available in seven distinctive stain colors, designed to match those found in nature. Additional stain colors are under consideration and development.
